Dairy Science Emeritus Professor - Nutrition
Dr. Grummer conducts research in lipid metabolism of dairy cattle. He investigates hepatic lipid metabolism, particularly as it relates to the etiology of lipid-related metabolic disorders such as fatty liver and ketosis. He also studies the effects of supplemental fat on lactation and reproductive performance.
