Why did you choose to attend UWMadison?

I chose to attend UW-Madison for its outstanding academics and resources that they offer to their students. I love the campus, and the school spirit here is unmatched!

What clubs/organizations/activities are you involved with?

I am on the Lightweight Women’s Rowing team here and I have been rowing since I was in middle school!

What is your favorite class that you have taken in the department and why?

I loved the Animal Science 102 lab. I was given many opportunities to work hands on with animals like dogs, sheep, horses, cows, chickens, etc. I really liked the way the class was structured, and I got to do a lot of things that I had never done before.

What are your future career plans?

After college, I hope to attend Veterinary school to become a small animal veterinarian.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

I would say to not be too hard on yourself during your first semester. Freshman year can be very overwhelming when you are in a new place, so just have fun with it, and explore new opportunities. I also think it is important to take classes you really think you will enjoy.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus is probably the terrace at Memorial Union! Especially when they have the chairs out in the spring and early fall. It is a great place to study but also spend time with your friends and grab food.

What is your favorite Babcock ice cream flavor?
