Research Area
Gabriel’s research uses bioinformatics to study how in-utero heat stress alters DNA methylation in the developing bovine mammary gland, and whether those epigenetic marks are inherited across generations. By integrating methylation data with transcriptomic and other multi-omic layers, he aims to identify the regulatory pathways linking early-life environmental stress to lifelong changes in mammary development and dairy productivity.
