Interested in learning more about the dairy industry through hands-on workshops? Want to prepare for your college or career of interest? Excited to meet new friends with similar interests? Join us at Badger Dairy Camp from July 9 – 12!
Our program includes hands-on workshops, tours, and recreational activities across the UW-Madison CALS campus for students ages 12 to 17. Dairy industry leaders will present on topics covering land and water resources, animal health and welfare, human health and nutrition, farm business and community, and linear evaluations and dairy judging. College preparation workshops will be tailored to the camper’s current grade level in collaboration with CALS. Campers will have the full student experience, staying and dining at the Dejope Residence Hall (double occupancy; roommate requests available). Below is a link to an informational flyer about our programming.
Camp applications will be released at the beginning of April and will require a nonrefundable $175 registration fee. The camp will be limited to the first 100 registrants. Join our mailing list below to receive applications and not miss out!
