Why did you decide to attend UW-Madison?

Attending UW-Madison was always a dream of mine. Numerous family members had attended with only positive things to say. In addition to continuing a family legacy, UW-Madison has one of the top Dairy Science programs in the nation which was immediately appealing. I have no regrets in choosing UW.

What has been your most memorable college experience?

My most memorable experience has been participating in World Dairy Expo as a member of the Badger Dairy Club. I served as the Co-General Chair for 2019 WDE helping to ensure the event was a success. Through this I was able to make memories that will last a lifetime as well as meet and network with numerous people in the dairy industry.

What has been your favorite course?

My favorite course has been Dairy Science 233/234. Between these courses, we are given an entire year of practical dairy herd management experience. Industry experts would come in each week to share their knowledge and teach us effective herd management strategies.

What are your future career goals?

I would like to work in the dairy industry helping to apply technology on dairies in order to maximize production and efficiency.
