DESCRIPTION:Interested in pursuing a major in Animal & Veterinary Biosciences or Dairy Science? This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the programs we offer at UW-Madison. The Department of Animal & Dairy Sciences is hosting a full day campus visit event on December 1\, 2023. This event is aimed to give prospective students a better understanding of the opportunities available to them at the University of Wisconsin – Madison\, as well as potential career and graduate school opportunities beyond graduation. \nThe event will be broken up into several sessions\, allowing prospective students to tour department buildings\, hear from numerous faculty\, interact with current undergraduate and graduate students\, and ask any questions that they may have about the department. \nSessions include: \n\nWhat’s next? Exploring career & professional school opportunities beyond graduation\nResearch opportunities & laboratory tour\nAnimal facilities & undergraduate student opportunities\nCurrent undergraduate/graduate student panel\nQ&A with undergraduate recruitment team\n\nThe event will be held from 9:30am to 4:00pm at the Carson Gulley Center. Prospective students are able to be accompanied by one guest and lunch will be provided.
