SUMMARY:MSABD/Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors (WAMP) Pre-Convention Workshops
DESCRIPTION:The WAMP convention will kick off on Thursday\, April 13\, with a Pre-convention workshop hosted by the University of Wisconsin – Meat Science and Animal Biologics Discovery. The workshop focus is “Technology and Automation Working for You.” It will include demonstrations of equipment used in harvesting and further processing\, and speakers will discuss implementation of automation in a meat processing facility. \nIf you have an interest in the meat industry and attending the WAMP Convention\, please see a detailed schedule and register at https://wi-amp.com/ or contact WAMP at 608-636-0639/email dianne@wi-amp.com. DESCRIPTION:The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Department of Animal & Dairy Sciences invites prospective students that are interested in majoring in animal or dairy science to attend virtual or in person preview day events to explore what the program has to offer. Attendees will learn about the curriculum\, scholarships and financial aid availability\, career options\, and extracurricular opportunities that make-up the “Badger Experience” for animal and dairy students. Current students and instructors will be also on hand to answer questions and to talk about their involvement in campus activities. \n  \n“Choosing a college to attend is a major life decision.
