Christy Davidson

Christy is the lab manager for 9 faculty in the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences. As a Laboratory Manager, Christy manages budgets and grants, purchases items, and aids in project planning, laboratory safety, and compliance. She enjoys the resources and connections that come from working in an academic setting and helping others reach success in their research goals. 

Christy got her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences and has worked on campus at UW-Madison for almost 20 years on research topics ranging from bioengineering targets for monolignol substitutes to improve cell wall utilization of lignin to ammonia recovery by electrodialysis from wastewaters. Outside of work, you will find her playing board games with her husband and 3 children, cooking and baking, and folding origami.
